Underlying problem(s) or opportunity/ies:
As an NGO, InterMediaKT feels the need to promote its activities through social media channels so that it reaches more people, especially the youth. That is why its presence in the most popular media channels is of great importance. However, with rapidly changing trends among youth, InterMediaKT is facing difficulties following all the trends and therefore would like to ask the youth, aka social media trend experts, for their help.
Reason for facing this particular problem or opportunity:
When it was first introduced, TikTok was not used to transfer knowledge. That’s why InterMediaKT did not consider it as a resource to promote its activities. So it is still relatively a new idea to use this platform for promotional purposes. Knowledge transfer used to take place through longer texts, videos or visual designs. The generation most of the current staff belongs to at InterMediaKT worked that way, too. We believe in the creativity of the youth, especially when it comes to content creation and inspiration. With rapidly changing trends on multiple social platforms, it is difficult to keep up to date with all of them.

By the end of the challenge, InterMediaKT aims to get inspiration and creative ideas from the youth to create a digital content planner with example videos so that our channel reaches more people and therefore has a bigger impact on youth work and volunteerism.
